Plant: After last frost

Allium cepa  100 seeds   110 days,

This exceptionally sweet and mild onion yields large white bulbs with a brown skin. Reselected from Walla Walla onion by seed breeder Don Tipping of southern Oregon, it is juicy and delicious fresh but not a good storage variety. When sown in the spring expect large bulbs by mid to late summer. Sow tiny seeds in a deep tray and transplant to the garden when they are the thickness of a straw.

4-5 inches spacing, ⅛-¼ inch planting depth, sow outdoors- spring, sow indoors- 8 weeks before last frost
